At Reelfoot Lake there is no shortage of experienced guides and outfitters. Being a very rural area, many people have grown up spending most of their leisure time in the outdoors learning how to hunt and fish and how to appreciate what a wonderful place we live. Reelfoot Lake is also home to some of the best duck and goose callers in the world and many of them offer guide services on and around the lake and the Mississippi River.

Some guides are affiliated with local resorts and will likely refer you to the resort for their package deals while a lot of outfitters are independent and can refer you to a local motel near where they hunt. Most guides or outfitters are truly outfitters in that they provide the blinds, transportation, decoys, calling, and usually furnish a meal in the blind. Some guides have retrievers or allow you to bring yours along. The going rate for guides these days is anywhere between $75-$150 and above depending on the services they offer.
