Reelfoot Lake State Park Visitor's Center and Museum is located on the southwestern side of Reelfoot Lake, directly across from the world famous Boyette's Dining Room. It is truly a must see for anyone visiting the Reelfoot Lake area. The State Park Museum houses the most significant collection of historical pieces in the Northwest Tennessee area. The museum houses indian artifacts from the R. C. Donaldson collection, many examples of native fish and snake species, a reelfoot lake "Stumpjumper" from Calhoun Boat Works, and many more interesting items.
The Airpark Inn is now open and has rooms at very reasonable rates. The inn is a very unique hotel in that all it's room are part of a boardwalk that extends out over the marshes of Reelfoot Lake.
